Just because you are faithful or deemed righteous by God does't mean you will be excused from trials. And just because everything in the life of person seems perfect in the eyes of man doesn't mean it is because such person is faithful or deemed righteous by God. 

Righteousness is imputed by God and none can attain righteousness by his or her own independent works. Evidence of righteousness or faithfulness towards God is not in how perfect things seems in the outward. Rather, the existence of God's righteousness in us is evidenced by our willingness to remain faithful and appreciative of His grace and divine love for us irrespective of what we end up going through in this life.

God's righteousness revealed in entirety is Jesus Christ. Christ as God's righteousness revealed is man's only chance of becoming holy in line with God's standard of holiness. Outside of God's own righteousness, which is Christ it is impossible for man to meet God's standard of holiness.  The world of flesh is a fallen world of sin and as a world of sin, stubbornly into all kinds of self-righteousness. Self-righteousness is basically to do with legitimisation of sin as a self right for man to commit. The self-righteous are of course inspired by non other but Satan who is the number one enemy of righteousness. 

The ultimate goal of Satan in the end times world is to legitimise every act of sin as a human right to commit and criminalise righteousness. To achieve this wicked aim, human satanic agents as motivated by Satan are daily constantly busy engineering people's mind to be pro sin and anti righteousness through for instance the media. All manner of subliminal antichrist messages are constantly splattered across the media information gateway to ensure people despise righteousness and passionately love sinfulness. Unrighteousness and ungodliness are regularly packaged and promoted through media platforms as fun-packed harmless activities. And many lost souls are as intended by Satan constantly busy engaging in all kinds of sinful activities to the detriment of their own souls. Several people in the world are like never before desperate to pursue sin as a right and offences against righteousness is at an all time high.  The preachers of righteousness are repeatedly dubbed as haters of humanity. The world of man is terribly polluted with legions of demons.  Multitudes of people are heavily  laden and extremely depressed in their souls due to demonic possessions. The world is increasingly pro sin and anti-Christ. And as offence against righteousness increases the afflictions of the righteous indeed increases!  The end times preachers of righteousness are faced with all manner of trials and at the very heart of it all is financial trials. Several of God's elect indeed appear poor even though they are full of God's kingdom riches and are daily making many rich (2 Corinthians 4:7-18). 

The trials of the elect by the world is in itself proof that the elect is not of the world but born of Spirit of God therefore no longer subject to the dominion of sin (John 15:17-21, Romans 6). The world loves the sinful spiritual human portals. But deeply hates the vessels of God who as living souls are His portals of operations for the manifestation of His kingdom glory. Christ as righteousness itself revealed had to endure trials in the world of sin in order for us to be saved from sinfulness and become transformed into His holy and righteousness image. And if indeed we are genuine followers of Christ and partakers of His righteousness, we should expect to be tried by the world and not loved by the world. Scripture in whole context indeed made it clear to us that the faithful and deemed righteous by God cannot avoid trials and tribulations. Job being an obvious example. But even though the righteous are bound to suffer many afflictions for the LORD's sake, Christ who is the LORD our Righteousness will always deliver the righteous from it all for His glory and honour sake. 

The reward of unrighteousness is eternal death. The reward of righteousness is eternal life of peace, rest and joy in the everlasting kingdom of God. The suffering we go through as elect of God in this temporary world of sin is nothing compared to the reward of righteousness that awaits us in eternity (Romans 8:18).  Therefore, in all things, let us continually keep our eyes focused on Christ, who as the LORD our RIGHTEOUSNESS is also author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:1-3). By the special grace and mercy of God, even though we are persecuted, we will not be destroyed. And even though we are in our trials perplexed, we will not despair (2 Corinthians 4:7-10). For greater is Christ the LORD our RIGHTEOUSNESS in us than all the antichrists spirits that are in this fallen world of sin (1 John 4:1-4).
