In the natural jungle of the world, one of the major ways animals avoid danger is through application of their survival instincts. Through application of their survival instincts, they are able to quickly recognise and manoeuvre their way away from the dangerous situations of ending up  becoming killed and eaten up by a stronger animal in the animal jungle world. In addition, the fact that animals don't look the same and are easily recognisable to each other for who they are makes the assessment of danger and avoidance of danger an easier thing for them to achieve. 

However, in the human world whereby all humans have the same outer human suit, recognising dangerous people or averting any wicked plans that they might have through application of natural instincts is unlikely to work. The human world is indeed more of a dangerous jungle than the animal jungle world. As the entire Bible clearly makes us to understand and as nicely summarised by the words of Jesus above, the human jungle is packed with dangerous serpents and wolves who are unfortunately in human suits and impossible to identify for who they are by natural assessments or application of our natural human instincts. 

The human jungle is the way it is mainly because God wants us as human beings to live by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:6-8). By sight, a person can only see the negative side of the actual real pictures of life. And as long as the only thing a person is able to see is the negative, it will be impossible for he or she to ever make sense of the reality of a positive end result. Negatives brings fear and fear cripples and debilitates. Fear is activated through anticipation and expectations of occurrences of harm, danger or a deadly negatives outcomes. Expectations drives reactions and when the anticipated outcome visualised by the eyes of sight as likely to occur based on circumstantial natural evidence of outlook of things are of danger or of a dead end outcome, fear will immediately set in to cripple.  

God of course has not given us the spirit of fear but of power, love and of a sound mind.  Fear therefore as a crippling emotion is a weapon used by evil forces to debilitate and cripple. 

Fear stems from imaginations of harm, danger or dead end and imaginations of danger or dead ends only brings nothing but: 

F-false 

E- Expectations 

A- Appearing as 

R- Real. 

The suggested imagery of negative outcomes by evil forces, which they flood the mind with, is basically for the sake of distorting the spiritual eyes from seeing the positive outcome God has already established for us in the spirit realm and, which He has ordained to manifest in the visible realm at His own appointed time and due season.    

Fear is rendered powerless by deactivation through our faith activation. To deactivate fear and keep fear deactivated we need to operate by faith. Faith the Bible tells us: "Is the substance of things hoped for, evidence of things that are not seen" (Hebrews 11:1).  From the definition of faith, it is clear that evidence is at the heart of faith just as it is at the heart of fear. Therefore, whether you end up with an outcome of fear or faith, it all depends on the evidence you are relying on. The evidence of faith is 'unseen' meaning invisible but real. The evidence, which activates fear are the visibly seen or the suggested false imagery to the mind and made to appear real by the external forces. To combat fear, we must see the unseen, meaning that, our spiritual eyes must be open to see the spiritual reality, which is yet to manifest in the visible. 

Faith is indeed all to do with seeing beyond the evidence of the visible and the only way this can happen is if God opens our spiritual eyes. The natural evidence which causes fear are usually directly opposite of the spiritual evidence, which although is completely real but unseen by the natural eyes. Fear is a reaction to an evidence that produces an anticipation of a negative end result. Faith enables us to be proactive and not panicky reactive. Faith keeps you active in line of God's will and purpose. And as long as you are faithfully active, fear cannot achieve its reactive aim of stagnation and crippling of the spirit man from continuing with Godly approved proactive actions. Faith equips us to operate in righteousness instincts and it keep us in line of obedience towards God. Fear generates a confusion and panic instinct and any decision made out of panic or confusion can never be the right one. Panic opens the mind further to suggestions from the wicked and lawless spirits and without faith it is impossible to silence these suggestions and remain in continuous walk of obedience towards God. Fear cripples but faith enables. Faith is a movement power that fear cannot contend with and this is why it is important for us as the redeemed in Christ to always live by faith and never in fear. 

I pray today that by power of Christ's  own faith as author and finisher of our faith, that you will keep on moving in the righteous path of life to the finishing line, and that you will not  end up stagnated in any circumstances by fear. Amen.
