Love Is The Answer
The number one desire of every human being on earth is to find love. And when it comes to unravelling the meaning of love, several people across the world seem to agree with the Ancient Greek segmentation of types of love into four main categories namely:
- Storge which is an affectionate love such as for example parental love,
- Philia which is to do with a platonic friendship centred kind of love,
- Eros which is an intimate romantic type of love and;
- Agape which is God's unconditional love and as God's unconditional love the highest kind of love.
The segmentation of love in this Ancient Greek context seem much more concentrated on defining love as a distinctive type or form of feelings expressed by one to another depending on the nature and form of the relationship itself. Although, I quite agree that love has a lot to do with expressions, it is important we fully recognise God as love in itself and not just consider His love as a form of love amongst other forms of love. Loving requires the right capacity and God as love is the only means by which we can have the right capacity to fully love ourselves and also appropriatly love others. God as love is holiness itself. Therefore any act or form of relationship rooted in sinfulness cannot amount to love. God as Love liberates and He is the only one that can give us true joy, rest and peace in our now existence and in eternity.
Our number one realistic soul desire is to find and experience God as true love for eternity. The love of God is the only thing that can make us feel inwardly and outwardly fufiled. Without God's love the soul will continue to yearn and seek for fulfiment. Human life in the natural is ridden with endless challenges. Every human achievement comes with unforeseen challenges price tag, which in turn makes the search for fulfilment an endless mission that can only become accomplished when we find God as true love. The search for fulfilment in complete spiritual blindness leads people to pursue all manner of visible things such as worldly riches, fame and the rest of it in the hope that having those things will afford them their much desired satisfaction, peace and inner rest. However, often times people find that the moment they achieve the targeted success they had hoped will afford them happiness, they continue to remain void of peace, rest and joy. The joy of achieving targeted success by many is usually short lived because real fulfilment and joy is only possible when our soul is connected to God who is love itself. Unless the soul is connected to God as love, the human yearn to attain happiness through climbing the unending ladder of worldly success will only continue to work to produce more void and emptiness.
Natural success without God is equivalent to having what seems like everything but in the real sense of life means nothing. Contentment is only possible if we are in oneness with God who is Love. In the fall of man into sin, man became separated from God who is love and ended up in the hateful camp of the fallen angels headed by Satan, aka Lucifer. To save mankind from evil domination of fallen angels, God─as ultimate love came to earth in the Person of Jesus Christ to fulfil His entire law of righteousness. Christ, as the fulfiller of the law is God’s body of righteousness and to be in Christ is to be inside of LOVE, which is God.
God as love is the complete answer and solution for our entire human problems. God as love itself is a God of relationships. No spirit being is an island and a relationship is not simply a physical matter, but highly spiritual. A relationship with God is a conscious act, not a subconscious after thought. God in His relationship with us wants us to bear testimony of His love for us. A person can only be in relationship with God if in Christ and those who are without Christ are subconsciously in a relationship with deadly spirits. Since the relationship is in the subconscious, it is a veiled mystery to the human engaged in relationship with dead spirits. Unless disengaged from the dark-deadly spirits by the power of God’s love, such a person will be buried in a subconscious graveyard of sorrow filled with endless emptiness and hopelessness.
To find God is to enter into a conscious, joyous spiritual relationship. Our joyous relationships with God counteract the emotional babbling of the flesh-mind regardless of our outward circumstances. Emotions are a flesh problem and as long as we remain in our mortal bodies, emotions will always try to darken our hearts to impair our spiritual mind’s good sense. In our conscious spiritual-mind connection with God, the emotions activated by natural occurrences intended to compress our spiritual being, loses its power under the active-power of God’s love. As a result, even when the outward picture seems dried out, the inward Living Water of God always manifests itself from the depths of our souls to the surface; keeping us spiritually functional so we are not stagnated by an emotional drought. God deactivates our emotional, mental and physical state with His overwhelming love and comfort. This love and comfort is something beyond human explanation and as such needs to be personally experienced for it to be fully understood. If you are outside of Christ, then you are outside of LOVE. Love is the truth. And outside of Christ, who is God's love manifested in the flesh, there is nothing but lies!
1 John 4:7-11
"Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another."
