Who Is A Liar?
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."
~John 3:16-17
How many human beings in the ages of time is born of a virgin, died and resurrected on the third day, ascended to heaven in front of human eye witnesses and promised to return to judge the world? As most people are fully aware, the event of a virgin birth, sinless death and resurrection from death is something that is uniquely only to do with Christ and none other. My question therefore for anyone who believes Christ is just an ordinary prophet is how do you explain His unique birth, death and His resurrection from death, which are by no means the normal course of events of a human life? Christ's virgin birth, His death and resurrection are in itself clear indication of the fact that Christ is divine in every aspect and not just an ordinary mortal human being. Christ as the Bible tells us is the only begotten Son of God (John3:16). And if Christ as the Bible says is truly the only begotten Son of God, then how can it please God for the believers in Christ to be persecuted by the followers of another supposedly prophet of God?
The fact of the matter is, God never contradicts Himself. Therefore, even if we were to all agree that Jesus is just a prophet, it still doesn't make sense for God to have ordained another prophet simply for the sake of persecuting the followers of another prophet of His. The spirit of a true prophet is subject to the Spirit of God who is the source of truthful prophetic authority (Revelation 19:10). A persecutor of anyone ordained by God is not of God but an enemy of God. Indeed there are no precedence in the Scripture of a true prophet of God persecuting another ordained prophet of God as is or her service point of duty towards God. The spirit of Elijah did not persecute Elisha. Jeremiah did persecute Isaiah. Instead, God's true prophets and chosen people were all persecuted by the false prophets of Baal who is nothing but a false god.
Elijah as detailed in (2 Kings Chapter 18), indeed had to contend with 450 of Baal prophets and He prevailed as the prophet of the true living God. And just as Elijah prevailed over the Baal prophets of the old, so it is that God's true prophets will continually prevail over every Baal prophets and principalities entities throughout the ages of time by power and sovereign authority of the Holy Ghost.
The real battle is not in the physical. The real battle is spiritual. And Christ as the only begotten Son of God has already won our entire spiritual battle for us on the cross of Calvary (John16:33, Colossians 2: 8-15). In Christ we have the weaponry authority Word of God for the pulling down of strongholds and for the scattering of Satan's bloody kingdom (2 Corinthians 10:3-6). And those who are in Christ are by no means victims of any circumstances but champions of life through Christ Jesus who is the way, the truth and life itself (John 14;6). The devilish possessed human can of course kill the physical body (Matthew 10:28). But as evidenced by Christ's own resurrection from death, they cannot kill the spirit or destroy the soul of anyone justified by God. Our only means of receiving justifications from God is through the blood of Jesus. Through the justification blood of Jesus, we remain now and forever an overcomer irrespective of our human trials and worldly tribulations (Revelation 12:11). The resurrection of Jesus Christ from death is in itself our proof from God that He is indeed the real Judge of all matters and not man. Jesus although was tried by man and unjustly sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit, He rose from death on the third day. And by special grace of God, the devil failed in his entire bid to hide the truth of Christ's resurrection from mankind. Even though, the event of Christ, birth, His death and resurrection occurred two thousand odd years ago, today by the special grace of God, I bear record and testimony of Christ's resurrection from death because He lives in me as the resurrected King of kings.
Life and death is a spiritual matter and not physical. And sadly, there are several souls in the world who although appears to be physically alive, strong and well but totally dead spiritually. To be spiritually dead is to be occupied by evil spirits whose primary goals are to endlessly torture the soul of the person they are occupying. Man suffered a spiritual death following the fall of the first man Adam into sin and became separated from the Holy Spirit of God (Genesis 3). And none can simply awake from this death except by the deliverance and redemption power of God. The Gospel is called the Good News because it is news of the fact that we can through Christ resurrect from the death penalty the entire human race partook in following the falling into sin of the first man (Genesis 3, Romans1:16-17 & 3:20-31). Through Christ's finished work of righteousness in form of His own loving sacrifice for the atonement our sins on the cross, we can receive forgiveness from God for our sins and reconcile back to God's Holy Spirit if we genuinely repent from sins and humbly surrender our lives to Christ. This Good News is of course something Satan who is spirit of hatred and death itself does not wish for man to hear about let alone believe in. And it is precisely for this reason that he sets up his fear regiment for the sake of denying mankind the reward of true faith, which is eternal life.
God of course has not given us the spirit of fear but His perfect Spirit of power, love and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fear is a tool used by the coward Satan to deter man from obeying God. But Satan's weapons of fear cannot prevail against anyone whose focus and attention is on Christ the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:1-3). Christ as author and finisher of our faith is the Resurrection and life itself (John11:25). And in Christ, we have overcome death the last enemy to the glory of God. The spirits of the grave cannot succeed in keeping anyone who is in Christ captive in the grave. Christ as the Resurrection and life itself has conquered death and the grave for us. And in Christ, even though we will die as flesh, we live forever through Christ who is God's gift of life to us.
The devil is nothing but a wicked liar. And the entire lie of the devil is mainly for the purpose of denying man the opportunity of resurrecting from death through Christ Jesus. To resurrect from death we must believe and obey the Word of God. And the Word of God says in John Chapter 3:16, that:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
The Word of God also says in (1 John2:22-23), that:
"Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also".
The Word of God is unchanging truth and the consequences for rejecting the Word of God is continuation in death. God of course does not desire for us to perish in death. And it is precisely for this reason as the Bible says, that He gave us us His only begotten Son so that through our believe in Him as His perfect gesture of love for us we will not perish in sinfulness but have everlasting life. Death as consequence of sin is a punishment from God for the disobedience against His lawful order and righteous commandments (Genesis 3). And our only means of receiving His forgiveness and through His forgiveness resurrect from penalty of sinful disobedience, which is death is not by continuing in sin but by repentance from our sins. Believing in Christ as God's only begotten Son is God's chosen way of forgiving us our sins. And to reject God's perfect gesture of love is to remain a captive of Satan who is the spirit of death itself (Hebrews 2:14-18). Satan as spirit of death does not wish for man to overcome him as death. Hence, he deceives man with all manner of lies, which he labels as factual truth in order to keep man bound in sin and through sin, under judgement of death.
If you happen to be reading this today and you find the idea of Christ as only begotten Son of God foreign to your religious ideas, human ethics or beliefs, the question is what if your religious ideology or beliefs are all wrong? What if what you consider as truthful are indeed a complete lie from the devil mainly for the purpose of denying you forgiveness of your sins by God? The consequences for rejecting the truth is eternal damnation in hell fire. And whether or not you believe it, Satan is fully aware of the fact that you cannot overcome him as spirit of death or have eternal life through your own independent works of righteousness. It is therefore important that you do not allow your religious ideas stand in the way of your only chance of having eternal life in the everlasting kingdom of God through Christ.
Fulfilment of the law according to the Bible is not to do with merciless killing. Rather, we can only fulfil the love through loving God with all our hearts, body, mind spirit and soul and loving our neighbour just as we love ourselves (Matthew 22:36-40). The message of Christ is a message of hope of eternal life through Him as God's love and mercy revealed unto man. Christ as God's love and mercy revealed to us did not command or instruct us to kill anyone as service unto God. Indeed as stated by Christ, in (John 16:1-4,) to engage in acts of murder in mindset that it is a service unto God is in itself proof of separation from God. God is life itself. And to be separated from God is to be a puppet of the devil who is spirit of hatred. God is love (1 John 4:8-11). And God as love is merciful and not merciless. The giving us of Christ as His only begotten Son to die for our sins so that we can through Him as Resurrection and life itself have eternal life is in itself proof of God's graceful and merciful nature. Christ as proof of God's love for mankind did not instruct us to persecute anyone who does not believe in Him as the only begotten Son of God. Instead, He commands us to love even our enemies and to do good to those who hates us as evidence of our transformation from the evil sinful hateful nature to the gentle and merciful loving nature of God (Matthew 5: 43-48). Christ did not come to the world to instigate mankind to engage in violence as a religious gesture toward God. Instead He came from heaven to the earth to deliver us from the violent blood thirsty warring angels who endlessly deceives man into engaging in violent warfare with one another so they can continue to have ample supply of human flesh and blood.
Jesus as God's love revealed to mankind sheds His own blood for us through His sacrificial death on the cross so as to deliver us from the graveyard of sins. The shedding of His blood for the remission of our sins is God's ultimate demonstration of His mercy and grace for us as human beings. God as love has not commanded you to practice vain religion as proof of your service or obedience towards Him. His commandment to us is that we believe in Christ who as is His only begotten Son, came to this world through a sinless virgin birth, died for our sins on the cross of Calvary and resurrected as the Resurrection and life itself on the third day (Romans 10:9-13).
Our only means of salvation from sins and death as detailed in the entire Bible remains Christ Jesus (Acts4:12). And a person who is outside of Jesus will be totally void of life and completely dead spiritually. A person who is spiritually dead will be totally void of the knowledge of the true God (Hosea 4:6). And this is exactly what the devil wants, to deny man true knowledge of God through bombarding man with wicked lies that he has labeled as religious facts and ideologies of truth. The knowledge of God is divine and our only means of having God's knowledge is through obedience to His Word. Disobedience as a spiritual crime against God separates man from God and firmly places the soul under God's judgement wrath. A person who is separated from God will be completely vulnerable to evil attacks from wicked demonic spirits. The spirit man will be under the total evil influence of Satan and such person's soul will be totally compressed by evil spirits in the graveyard of sins. Although this might sound hash and terribly offensive to you if you are not in Christ and you are indeed already fully convinced that Christ is just a mere prophet, the question however remains what if it is indeed true that Christ is the only begotten Son of God?
Your only means of avoiding perishing forever according to (John 3:16), is by believing Christ is the only begotten Son of God and evidencing your believe through surrendering your life to Him as (Romans 10:9-13) says. This therefore, means that, as long as you continue to deny who the Bible says Christ is and refuse to accept Him as your personal LORD and Saviour, you have no hope of resurrecting from death as punishment for your sinful disobedience. The question then is, how sensible can it be to choose to remain dead and enslaved to sin when you can become resurrected from death and have eternal life in God's kingdom by obeying God's Word of truth? No one in their right mind would rather be dead forever when they can live forever. Satan of course is fully aware of the fact that man's only chance of resurrecting from death is through Christ who is Resurrection and life itself. And this is precisely the reason why he deceives man with all sorts of lies in order to keep man in his graveyard of death. By obeying the Word of God written in (John 3:16) today, you can overcome Satan who is the spirit of death and reconcile back to the Holy Spirit of God. Once you are in Christ, Satan can no longer touch your soul because your soul and entire being will be protected by the whole armoured shield of God (Ephesians6:10-12).
Your journey to eternal life in Christ begins with believing exactly what Satan does not want you to believe, which is that Christ is the only begotten Son of God. By exercising your spiritual right to that believe today you can deny Satan who is spirit of death claim to your soul. Jesus as Resurrection and life itself awaits your calling Him today to come and rescue you from death. The Bible in John 11:25-26 says:
"Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?"
Jesus also says in Revelation 1:18 that:
"I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death."
Believing in Christ for who He is and surrendering your life to Him as the only begotten Son of God, is not simply a choice of religious preference from amongst other religions, that are of equal standing. It is in actual fact a choice of truth between lies and truth and choice of life between life and death. Today, if indeed your desire is to overcome death and live forever in God's eternal life kingdom, you must believe who Jesus says He is and not who the devil says Jesus is or that He is not. It is only by the truth that you can overcome Satan who is spirit of death itself. And the truth as written in (John 14:6), is Christ Jesus who as only begotten Son and Resurrection and life itself is your only chance of securing your permanent victory over Satan who as a cheap liar is the spirit of evil, hate and death itself.
1 Corinthians 15:50-58
"Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord."
